Privacy Policy

Last updated 27 August 2026

Rando.gg sends you to games made and hosted by other people. This page covers what we collect, and — just as importantly — what those games may collect on their own, which we do not control.

The short version

What the iOS app collects

Nothing. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics and no advertising of our own. The games you have played and the ones you have favorited are kept in local storage on your device; they are not transmitted to us and are deleted when you delete the app.

The app makes one request to our servers — asking for the list of games — and sends nothing with it beyond the request itself. No identifier, no device information, no personal data.

What the website collects

The website has a few features the app does not, and they do collect:

Your browser also stores your recent history locally so the site can show it back to you. That never leaves your browser.

The games are other people’s websites

This is the part that matters most. Every game runs inside a frame that loads a third-party site. When you play one, you are visiting that site, and it can do the things any website can do: set cookies, load advertising, and use analytics or tracking services of its own.

We do not receive that data, and we cannot switch it off. Several games in the catalogue are known to load advertising and tracking code. We screen games and remove ones we find serving ads, but that screening checks what a game loads when it starts — a game that shows an ad partway through play can pass it. We therefore do not claim the catalogue is free of advertising or tracking.

If you want to know what a particular game collects, its own privacy policy is the authority, not this one.

Children

Rando.gg is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. The catalogue is third-party content that we curate but do not produce, and it is not age-verified. If you believe a child has given us an email address, contact us and we will delete it.

Keeping and deleting data

Email addresses and play records are kept while they are useful and deleted on request. To have yours removed, email us from the address in question and say so — we do not need anything else to find it.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
